Anna Sadowska

Anna Sadowska born in 1971. She graduated with distinction from the Print Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. She was given a scholarship of the Minister of Culture (1998). She exhibited her works on individual shows in Poland, France ,Sweden, Bulgaria an Hungary and took part in many group exhibitions. She was awarded at All-Poland Biennial of Student Print in Poznań (1999) and with a distinction at the VIII Polish Print Triennial in Katowice (2012). She is a member of an artistic women's “Group 13”. Mainly uses metal techniques ( etching, dry point ) and also deals with graphic design.

The artist had three individual exhibitions in Jan Fejkiel Gallery so far. She also took part in collective shows organised by the gallery, i.a.:  Beyond the Passe-Partout, New Spaces in Print, JFG (2006, Cracow); Shaping the Gallery, JFG (2012, Cracow); Visible/ Invisible, Turchin Center for Visual Arts, (2012/13 Boone NC, USA).
