Dariusz Vasina was born in 1964 in Cracow. He studied at the Print Faculty of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 1985-90. And he worked as a assistant professor there. He graduated from the Copper Engraving Studio and broadened his diploma adding drawing. In 2007 he completed his doctoral dissertation. He runs the Painting Studio and the Drawing Studio at the Print Faculty of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He was a co-founder and a member of an artistic group “Three Eyes”. The group functioned nearly twenty years. He took part in over 60 exhibitions. He deals with print, painting, drawing and produces three-dementional objects.
The artist had two individual exhibitions in Jan Fejkiel Gallery so far. He also took part in collective shows organised by the gallery, i.a.: The Element and the Method, Galerie de la C.G.E.R. (1996, Liege), Centrum Manggha (1997, Cracow); The Polish Printmakers and the French Poets, Galerie des Franciscains (1999, St.Nazaire).
