Marianna Stuhr was born in 1982. She finished the Print Faculty of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. In 2011 she finished a doctoral study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She twice got a scholarship of the Minister of Culture (2005-6, 2008-10) and of Kościuszko Foundation (2009). A few times she was a laureate of the Warsavian Print Competition. She received an artistic grant of Fondazione Italo-Svedese in Venice (2004); she took part in international print project “Self – Image / Fact or Fiction” at the Print Faculty of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (2005) and also in Polish – German artistic workshops “Abstraction – Figuration” in Radolfzell (2009). She exhibited her works on several individual shows and took part in a few dozen group exhibitions.
The Artist had an individual exhibition in Jan Fejkiel Gallery.
