Marta Bożyk was born in 1973. She graduated with distinction from the Print Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Now she is a lecturer there. She was given an artistic scholarship from the City of Cracow and Mino City in Japan (2001). She presented her works on a dozen individual exhibitions and took part in many collective shows. She was awarded with the technical Award on the International Print Exhibition in Taichung ( Taiwan,2008) and with the Equal Prize on the International Triennial of Art Bitola ( Macedonia, 2009). She is a member of the artistic female „Group 13”.
The artist had two individual exhibitions in Jan Fejkiel Gallery so far. She also took part in collective shows organised by the gallery, i.a.: Shaping the Gallery, JFG (2012, Cracow); Visible/ Invisible, Turchin Center for Visual Arts, (2012/13 Boone NC, USA).
